Meet the Team

The Birregurra Resources journey began in 2008 which has seen a rigorous and articulate planning process that saw the first sales go out the gate on the 1st of July 2020. Founding Director Scott Stewart has been the driving force behind the exhaustive process that has left no stone unturned in securing the relevant planning permissions whilst at all times respecting the sensitive environmental concerns of all stakeholders.

Being a “man of the land” Scott’s passion has been the guiding influence in creating a Best Practice commercial environment and ongoing sensitivities to the natural landscape.

The quality of materials as evidenced by early testing has been confirmed as the basalt has been removed from below the earth’s surface to produce the highest quality aggregates and other related products.

Scott’s vision to combine quality materials has been matched by his environmental sensitivity and best practice approaches to see the freehold resource extraction facility evolve.
